Hello! I'm Carrie, a mama to two little monkeys, a believer of spreading love and kindness and the owner of Carried Away Play. I created this business because I love to sing, I love to be silly and more than anything, I love to make children feel special!

I'm not just passionate about helping your little one's development, but also celebrating their special day. I'm also focused on parent well-being and ensuring all care givers have a safe space they can talk openly about anything from how your week went, to how you need sleep. I create a judgement free space that allows care givers to talk about the ups and downs, knowing we're all in it together.

I have been doing children's parties and teaching baby and toddler classes for over 10 years now! I'm Makaton certified and I'm also fully first aid trained. I have training in both music and musical theatre. I play a lot of different of instruments and at my events you can find me playing the ukulele and cello. I can also play piano and enjoy lots of singing.

All of this experience allows me to create one of a kind musical, sensory and fun filled parties and classes for your little ones.
